UPCOMING EVENTS

There are lots of events coming up to celebrate the publication of my new book, Rooted!  I cannot wait to meet you and sign your books in person, but for now the virtual events are full of possibility. Join me from anywhere in the world, and choose more than one event–each will be unique, and in conversation with different, wonderful people. Let’s make it as fun as we can: Pour yourself a cup or tea or a glass of something nice, kick off your shoes, head outdoors with your laptop if you can…And bring your questions, we’ll have lots of time to discuss whatever you want. Follow the links to the details (mind the time zones!).

Wednesday, May 12th: SEATTLE BOOK LAUNCH WITH ELLIOTT BAY BOOKS in conversation David George Haskell, author of Forest Unseen, and The Songs of Trees.

Keep your ears open–I’ll be on lots of radio and podcast spots in coming weeks. I am so delighted to share this book with you, and super grateful for all of your support!

INVITING ME TO SPEAK

If you would like to invite me to do a keynote, lead a retreat, speak, or teach at your conference or event, please email me directly at lyandahaupt@gmail.com.

BOOK GROUPS

I support everything about book clubs: literature, community, gossip, pretending-to-read-while-sipping-wine, and the grassroots chance to connect with readers. If your book group is reading Rooted or Mozart’s Starling, and we can figure out a time that works for you and for me, then I will be happy to join your group via Zoom for half an hour or so. And no guarantees, but if it is daylight in Seattle, Carmen the starling is likely to be sitting on my shoulder. For book group inquiries, please email me: lyandahaupt@gmail.com.
